The object of Tic Tac Toe is to get three in a row. You play on a three by three game board. The first player is known as X and the second is O. Players alternate placing Xs and Os on the game board until either opponent has three in a row or all nine squares are filled.
Go first. Place the X on the corner. This could either be a tie or win. It would be a tie if the other player places O at the center middle. Therefore, you will have 7/8 chance of winning after the first move.
Go first Place the X in the middle center. You will win the game if the other player places the O on the 4 adjacent spots. Therefore, you will have 4/8 chance of winning after the first move.
